For those Mac OS X users who like to watch windows minimize with the scale and genie effects - an activity closely related to appreciating a smooth CD drawer or the clunk of an expensive car door - there’s another scale effect Apple don’t tell us about. Opening a Terminal window and typing ‘defaults write com.apple.Dock mineffect suck’ will alter the effect so that windows appear to be sucked into the dock like a vacuum cleaner cranked to ‘Turbo’.
