I’m off to spend Christmas with my family in Hough, a township of Wybunbury Parish, Nantwich Hundred. Incidentally, Wybunbury is famous for its leaning church tower [pdf]. The technique used to stabilise it in 1832 was the same technique used later to correct the lean of the Tower of Pisa.
