Who Would Buy That? – “Auction oddities from all over the web”
Termites on toast.
This is just getting silly [watch out: pretty big download].
Cheers to James at infinitemonkeys.co.uk for the poem type thing.
Oops… just accidentally deleted the last two [manually posted] entries now that Blogger is up and running again. The first one was a link to this, and a second one was a link to this.
Last night, I made the mistake of trying one of these. Now I know what George’s grandmother felt like in George’s Marvelous Medicine.
Drinking a can of some strange Japanese energy drink [which I can’t remember the name of], some Pepsi and a cup of tea before going to sleep is a bad idea. I got very little sleep last night.
Just in time for the commercial frenzy called Christmas, I’ve started a wishlist.
Really busy at work at the minute, so postings are going to be few and far between for a while. The redesign is taking ages because I’m too much of a perfectionist. Its nothing major, there’s just going to be slightly more content to look at, as well as a section called ‘co-lab’ which will hopefully provide some kind of platform for collaboration in various projects that I haven’t thought of yet.
Another day and the same old routine. Last night, we decided to cook salmon with lemon and coriander with all the trimmings (well.. i say ‘last night’, it was more like 1 O’Clock this morning!… oops). Is it bad to eat a meal before going to sleep or is that an old wives tale? Whatever… it was good to eat proper food for a change instead of living on ‘Goodfellas’ pizzas from the cornershop.
The new drink: Coffeechino.

You may have noticed the increase in short ‘link’ style entries over the last few days. This is due to the sheer lack of time I have available to me to post long (and hopefully interesting) entries. Anyway, I’m hoping to make a few changes round here at the weekend (including improved interface, layout and an influx of new images).
Definition of the week: byssus, n. filamentous tuft (“beard”) by which molluscs attach themselves.
Word of the week: axunge
Bought one of these beauties the other day (for only a tenner. bargain). I didn’t realise that grinding the coffee before each mug makes a whole heap of difference. There’s nothing better than Old Brown Java, with loads of hot milk (latte style) and a smidgen of sugar. marvelous.
So what’s the point in this then?
