It’s weird. Here, stateside, Blair is viewed as a relatively remarkable leader. Confident in his words, eloquent in his speech and apparently strong in his convictions. He carries an true air of leadership about him.
On the other hand, Bush is viewed as an idiot pretty much the world over. Maybe it’s a question of the grass being greener on the other side, but it’s hard to really think (from an American’s POV) that there is someone better than Blair, while we know for sure (as does the world) that we can get a better leader.
Actually, rephrase. Those Americans that don’t watch Jerry Springer or have not appeared on COPS know that there are better leaders than Baby Bush.
