Ageing Android

Brent Spiner, the actor who plays Data in Star Trek: TNG is 54 years old, which means he was old enough to play an android in the original series. I just thought I’d share that because I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought he was much younger.

    54!? Wow!

Patrick Stewart is no youngster either.

I still get a slight shock whenever actors who I thought were my age suddenly turn 40. “What? Already?”.

I’m a long way from 40 yet, but we be getting old fast…

    If Spiner’s 54 Stewart must be, what, 100? ;-)

I don’t know how old he is (Stewart), but he drove the reasonably-priced-car course on Top Gear pretty well last night.
